Come as you are and bring a drink!
This event is intended as a casual way to wind down and end your week on a positive note with others who understand.
This is a casual get-together where we can meet, talk about current issues, and seek input and ideas from others. No tie - no agenda - no minutes. Just conversation.
And for those who are less interested in social things, remember you are among friends and you really are welcome in the fold (plus it's only an hour).

Dexter Durfey

Research indicates many drivers quit within their first year. Drivafy can help.
Managing student behaviours can be stressful. Replacing drivers can be frustrating, time consuming, and expensive. With Drivafy’s valuable strategies, you can help your drivers master the skills to be more confident in their roles and keep them driving for years to come!
Drivafy, created by child psychologist Dorrie Koscielnuk, aims to address the need for enhanced professional behaviour management training, providing drivers with the necessary tips and tools to foster a positive environment on the bus.
This program was carefully created for bus drivers. The development process included reviewing the MELT training program, participating in ride-alongs, and interviewing both new and seasoned bus drivers. The course equips drivers with coping skills, intervention tactics, and de-escalation methods through a variety of videos, scenarios, reflective exercises, and quizzes.
