- Manage hiring, discipline and possible termination of employees by maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage personnel and administration by maintaining systems, forms and processes in order to follow current laws and regulations to prepare timely provincial and federal reporting and to keep sensitive information secure and confidential
- Identify and monitor compliance with negotiated labour agreements
- Implement employment reductions or terminations as governed by employment agreements and statutory requirements
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive payroll system which provides accurate and timely compensation and benefit payments in compliance with legislative requirements, provincially and federally.
