This Education Law session will focus on Contract Law in an education setting.
Topics covered
- the essentials: offer, acceptance, consideration, performance, breach and other aspects
- Intentional Torts (assault, battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of mental suffering, intentional interference with business relations, defamation (liable and slander)
- the rudimentary elements of Legal research
This program will be of interest and value to individuals who deal with contracts in the education system in Alberta. We encourage ASBOA members to register in the course with others from your system that may also benefit from this program.
Successful completion of the Education Law 2 program may be used for continuing education requirements for Certified School Business Officials, and may also be used by members working towards with their CSBO designation.
