Finance Supervisor

Role Description

Reporting to the Director of Financial Services, the Finance Supervisor is responsible for the planning and co-ordination of the Program Unit Funding grant applications, year-end submissions and related accounts administration in the ECE department; overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as planning, co-ordination and on-going support to school finance staff of the on-line payment process.  The advisor is also responsible to review and standardize accounting processes and develop reports for School Generated Funds and monthly reporting to the Board of Trustees.

Knowledge, Education & Experience

The incumbent is required to possess:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum three year’s experience in accounting administration preferably at a supervisorial level
• Knowledge of PowerSchool accounting platform
• Knowledge of Rycor Software
