Associate Superintendent - Corporate Services

 

This position reports to the Superintendent of Education. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in financial and personnel management and have a proven track record of successful financial management experience. This position is based out of the East Central Alberta Catholic School Division office in Wainwright, Alberta. 

 

 

● Chartered Professional Accountant 

● Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Business 

● Successful previous experience in corporate services, finance and accounting

 

 

The selected candidate will have an accounting designation and successful senior level financial management experience. The Associate Superintendent - Corporate Services will have supervisory oversight for the areas of auditing, of both school division and individual school financial systems. They will assess compliance with financial rules and regulations. They will be responsible for data management and the analysis of data across the division. 

 

This position will also have supervisory responsibility for transportation and facilities. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for facilitating the planning and execution of all modernization and new construction projects. 

 

This position will provide HR and financial expertise to assist with CUPE & ATA contract negotiations.
