This session offers an overview of post-election practices and valuable tips to help you get your Board off to a positive start.
Along with the Superintendent, the Secretary-Treasurer can play a vital role in building positive relationships and being a trusted resource for your Board.
As well as to ensure the Division’s fiduciary responsibilities are met after the election, and some tools and tips to support the early days of the Board’s term.
This session will be presented by Tash Taylor (ASBOA’s CEO)
Prior to working with ASBOA and consulting full-time, her past roles have included Executive Director of Strategic Services and Governance with Edmonton Public Schools, Chief of Staff and Strategy with NorQuest College, and Consultant and Chief Education Officer with Alberta School Boards Association.
She has MBA with specialization in executive leadership, is an executive consultant and governance coach specialized in municipalities and school boards, and a course developer and instructor with the Governance Professionals of Canada.
