This series is for executive and directors looking to strengthen their practice for stronger teams and organizational culture.
Connection is a vital part of being human and emotional intelligence is a cornerstone of maintaining, creating and repairing connections with others. Emotional intelligence exploration allows people to gauge where they are at on a spectrum so they might understand and identify opportunities to expand or improve.
Low engagement and increasing incivility are common issues in today’s society, affecting various organizations, whether in workplaces, groups, or communities. This behavior often stems from a lack of emotional intelligence (EI), which erodes personal connections. This creates challenges for teams to work cohesively, for peers to resolve conflicts productively, and ultimately hinders professional growth.
The 'Evolving Your Emotional Intelligence' course is designed to address these issues through six 1-hour online sessions. Using a modular approach, one of the five key aspects of EI is explored each week, helping participants develop the skills needed to enhance engagement, foster meaningful relationships, and contribute to healthier environments.
This course will help participants:
- Learn what Emotional Intelligence is and how it relates to life and relationships.
- Gain a greater awareness of their EQ.
- Obtain ideas to develop their EQ.
- Build confidence and ability to understand how relationships and communication impact our life.
- Provides an easy, repeatable plan for self-development to increase resiliency even in the face of challenge.
Participants will be taught how to use EQ tools to:
- Regulate themselves in times of challenge
- Refine their display of Emotional Intelligence
- Repair important relationships
The modular approach facilitates focused self-exploration and allows time to experiment and progress based on experience.
