New Members
If you work in Education in a leadership capacity, the Introduction to Education Law course will provide individuals with a basic overview of Negligence, Administrative Procedural Fairness, examples of Criminal Law, and the rudiments of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms within the Canadian educational context.
The course is presented on Zoom, held on (7) Fridays starting January 10, 2025.

Join us for an information session with the Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP) at 1 p.m. on January 23, 2025. ASEBP’s Chief Executive Team will provide a background of the organization and share information about premium rates and cost drivers, financial advantages of the plan, and additional benefits ASEBP provides employers and covered members with.
ASEBP is a recognized leader in providing health and wellness benefits specifically designed to meet the needs of Alberta’s publicly funded K-12 education sector. ASEBP provides coverage for more than 66,000 covered members and more than 84,000 dependants across 73 school boards and education associations.
A document is enclosed that provides more information about ASEBP, processes and programs designed with sustainability in mind, and information on premiums, expenses, and historical subsidies.
