Introduction to a Respectful Workplace - POD 2

Respect in the workplace is important because it promotes a fair and health working environment among employees.  When employees are working in harmony with each other, they are more engaged and productive.  Creating and maintaining a respectful work environment is everyone's responsibility.  This 1 hour, informational webinar will help participants gain a broader understanding of respect and harassment and know how they can promote respect and civility in the workplace.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the session, participants will be able to do the following:

• Identify the signs of discriminating and harassing behaviours

• Examine the impact of incivility and harassment in the workplace

• Apply strategies for communicating concerns constructively

• Define one's accountability for fostering respect in the workplace
