If you work in Education in a leadership capacity the Introduction to Education Law course will provide individuals with a basic overview of Negligence, Administrative Procedural Fairness, examples of Criminal Law, and the rudiments of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms within the Canadian educational context. This course will be run virtually for the period of December 9th thru to February 17th.
This program will be of interest and value to individuals who are in a senior leadership position or working on expanding their knowledge in a school authority.  We encourage ASBOA members to register in the course with other individuals in their office that may also benefit.
 
Total class time is 20 Hrs + research, reading and presentation preparation

Upon successful completion of this program, ASBOA members will have earned their requirements for Education Law towards the Certified School Business Official designation.  Certified members may use this program towards their required hours for renewal.  A certificate of completion will be provided to all participants.
